Q & A's 

The Child Nutrition Act of 1966 established the first funding for the breakfast program in the form of a pilot. Today School Breakfast Program is available to all public and private nonprofit schools and residential child care institutions (RCCIs) in Mississippi. The children qualifying for free and reduced price meals may receive breakfast at school either free or for a reduced price. Currently over 1/3 of Mississippi’s students participate in the school breakfast program.
